JOIN OUR EXECUTIVE TEAM
Joining our Executive Team gives you an inside look into how we run our station. You'll work alongside a team to help plan events on and off campus, fundraise, create promotional materials, train new members, and help with any general tasks that keep us running. No experience is necessary to apply and we strongly encourage first and second-year students to join. To apply, email acadiaaxeradio@gmail.com indicating which position you are applying for, and a short cover letter introducing yourself, outlining any relevant experience, and why you'd like to join our team. Applications are due on September 10th, 2024.
Executive Team members are expected to: attend weekly general meetings, assist with events, and perform the below tasks.
PROMOTIONS AND PUBLIC OUTREACH COORDINATOR
Act as the bridge between Axe Radio, campus, and the wider Wolfville Community
Generate promotion ideas and materials for general radio operations and special events
Communicate with on-campus and/or off-campus organizations about collaboration opportunities
MUSIC COORDINATOR
Review Axe Radio music submissions
Update and curate the 24/7 automatic music stream
Create playlists throughout the year
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
Generate and post content on Instagram relating to radio shows, events, music, and more
Manage direct messages, comments, and tagged posts
