The Altamont Speedway Free Concert of December 1969 is known as one of the most devastating nights in music history. With an estimated 300,000 attendees and the Hells Angels as security, the night of free music quickly took a turn for the worst. Gimme Shelter (1970) documents the night through the eyes of the Rolling Stones.

This event is free and open to all. Note that this documentary depicts tragic events and violence.

Join us in celebrating African Heritage Month by watching "A Band Called Death"! Death was one of the first punk bands in the United States, but their recognition did not come until recently when forgotten tapes were discovered. This documentary follows the history of the band, the ‘70s punk scene, and the influence of Black musicians on alternative music. This event is free and open to everyone.
